Juggling Time
How do you know if your student has over-committed him or herself? A student may not cope with assignments, assesments, tests and exams if they have spent too many hours at work.
In the excitement of work and receiving their first pay-cheque students may under-estimate the need for a good balance between work, rest and study.
One of the hardest things about studying full-time and working part-time is learning to balance all the demands- study, work, sporting and other outside interest, family and personal commitments.
The Time Tamer feature of this website has been developed to give students a tool to use to help plan their time and use it effectively to balance all of their responsibilities.
It's more than just a calendar....the NSW school year is programmed into it and it allows students to add their personal commitments and obligations. You could use it as a teaching tool for time management in class. It works much like Microsoft Office.
Pop-ups and reminders will assist students to make sensible decisions about their working life, being mindful of their needs as a fulltime students.

Year Advisers, Careers Advisers and Mentors especially may find it useful to refer students and their parents to this feature of the site.
