It is not always the best policy to hire the youngest, most inexpensive workers. Business owners say that it is important to hire a range of student employees in a workplace. Young teenagers (aged 14 & 15) often lack the maturity and experience of older students. Older students can supervise younger ones and deal with customers more effectively. So, it is best to hire a mix of younger and older student employees in order to keep your workplace safe and to maintain a high level of customer service.
