You can use the "Time Tamer" to help you keep track of how many hours you have worked, and when. If you have previously entered your work schedule, you will be asked to confirm that you actually worked those hours the next time you log-in. If you haven't entered your schedule, you can still use the tracking function. Just go in and fill out the actual time worked and the system will calculate the total hours worked in the last pay period. If you do this regularly, Time Tamer will tell you the total number of hours worked over the entire school term, or year.
Your employer is also required to keep records which show the days on which you work, including the starting and finishing times and the total number of hours worked on each day. You can use the information collected through the Time Tamer to check against your pay slip to ensure the correct number of hours have been paid. If there is a discrepancy, you should bring it to the attention of your employer in a non-confrontational way. Just by asking the question, you may resolve a misunderstanding.
