Looking for a job

There are numerous places to start looking for work and people who may be able to help:

• Businesses in your local area
• School or community notice boards

If you want a job with one of the big retail or fast food chains, you will probably have to apply on-line, so search the name of the company and check their website first.

• Be sure to tell people that you are looking for a job
• Decide where you would most like to work, go there and ask for an interview
• Visit places that people tell you about and ask for an interview in person.
